Tiffany Restaurant and Cafe - Malay-style Assam Fish Head Curry

Buffet Alert: Tiffany Cafe and Restaurant

Tiffany Cafe and Restaurant International Buffet If you are looking for a good value international buffet in town, Tiffany Cafe and Restaurant located at Furama City Centre (Hotel),  serves an excellent spread of international and local cuisine in their buffet line. They recently added more mouth-watering signature dishes to ensure you get your money’s worth.

The kitchen is helmed by executive chef Ms Hii Siik Cho who comes from Sarawak (East Malaysia), and her forte is in local delights and Asian cuisine. You must try the Fried Fish Soup with Slipper Lobster and Thick Vermicelli. The soup is light and flavorful, while the ingredients make up a hearty meal. To spice things up, dig into the Oriental Szechuan-style Crabs, for a savory, spicy and sweet treat. The Assam Fish Head Curry is also not to be missed.

However, it is the Baked BBQ Beef Ribs that will keep you going back to the buffet line. The beef is tender and juicy, covered with tangy and sweet BBQ sauce.

If you are a durian lover, you will be delighted to know that Tiffany serves one of the best Durian Pengat (paste) and Durian Cream Puffs. The chilled Durian Pengat is smooth, creamy and refreshing at the same time. You can have numerous bowls without feeling overwhelmed. For those who prefer pastries, you get the same durian experience with their Durian Puffs.

The dessert spread also offers a light sponge Opera Cake which seems like a local version of the creamier and heavier French cake. You can easily eat a plateful of these little Opera Cakes without feeling much guilt.
