As part of its global Well-Being Movement, Westin Hotels & Resorts has partnered Fitstar by Fitbit to debut a series of fitness programmes at many of the brand’s 200 hotels around the world. Guests can stay fit on the go as well as take their workout beyond their hotel stay with complimentary trial access to the popular FitStar Personal Trainer app.

The FitStar Personal Trainer App offers personalised exercise programmes with workouts from fitness authorities, including football legend Tony Gonzalez. The app takes users’ capabilities and goals into account, creating customised workouts that adapt to a person’s fitness level. There are also many handcrafted Freestyle Sessions with new ones added monthly.

The Westin – FitStar by Fitbit partnership features designed tailored Freestyle sessions with travel and small spaces in mind. Designed by FitStar by Fitbit and Chris Heuisler, Westin’s National Running Concierge, the ‘Stay Fit with Westin‘ session is now available in the FitStar Personal Trainer app. The session features exercises such as elbow planks, floor bridges and stretching tired limbs. Equipment not required.

Hotel guests enjoy a complimentary 30-day trial to FitStar Premium till 30 June 2016 which comes with unlimited personalised routines and access to all Freestyle sessions including the ‘Stay Fit with Westin’ session. Get your redemption details during your stay and the free 30-day trial can be activated at any point before 30 June 2016.

And if guests have the Fitbit activity tracker, they can track their activity 24/7. The FitStar apps work seamlessly with the Fitbit platform allowing FitStar users to automatically view their FitStar workouts within the Fitbit app to see how their personal training or yoga practice impacts their overall health.

Westin hotel General Managers wear the Fitbit activity tracker. There are also nearly 200 runWESTIN Concierges. They host group runs for guests and encourage runners of all levels to grab a running map with scenic routes through cities, along beachfronts and amid rural landscapes.

And if you prefer to head to a gym, the WestinWORKOUT fitness studios offer exercise equipment in open, airy and well designed spaces.
