The OneAdpatr TWIST PLUS World Adaptor has become my latest travel companion. During my recent trip to Hokkaido, I brought along the review unit of this new adaptor plug.
As I use a MacBook Air, this adaptor comes in really handy because I can just plug my MacBook Air power adaptor while charging from a separate 2.4A USB charger for iPads and iPhones and still use the universal AC outlet to power up other electronic devices. This adaptor saves your life if the hotel you stay in has limited number of electrical points.
However, it may be slightly too big for use if you are flying in Economy Class. It protrudes out too much and you may end up knocking it of the electrical point in the plane, especially when the electrical point is located below the seat.
Operating the adaptor is easy. With a quick twist in any direction, four of the most popular power socket pins emerge so that you can use this adaptor in any part of the world. This is compatible in more than 150 countries around the world.
The Twist Plus World Adapters retail at S$69 at ante at Tangs Orchard Level 3, Epicenter, Epilife, istudio, Nubox and Digital Style. There is another version , the Twist World Adapter that retails at S$59 and does not have the extra option for the Macbook.
