MRT Stations in Singapore to Get WiFi Trial

Wireless@SG trial at all North East Line stations and 12 other major train stations in Singapore will be progressively available from mid 2014 as part of a Land Transport Authority (LTA) trial for two years. LTA has called for a tender for the implementation of the Wireless@SG trial yesterday and will monitor the trial during this period before deciding if the service will be extended to other MRT stations.

The 12 major stations where the WiFi connectivity will be trialed at include Jurong East, Raffles Place, City Hall, Dhoby Ghaut, Bishan, Serangoon, Buona Vista, Outram Park, Paya Lebar, Orchard, Choa Chu Kang and HarbourFront.

You can enjoy free and seamless wireless broadband access with speeds of up to 2 Mbps.
