Just this past weekend, we experienced the Mindful Mixology Weekender @ Citadines wellness staycation package at the Citadines Rochor Singapore located in the vibrant Little India neighbourhood. The 3D2N weekend staycation package is exclusively for members of Ascott Star Rewards and includes specially curated activities from S$485 nett for stays until 9 July 2023.
If you are new to the concept of Citadines, every Citadines property aims to immerse you in the essence of the city and bring the city experience to you. Begin your stay by checking in at the lobby, designed with a café-inspired ambiance where coffee serves as the universal language. Engage in in-house programs and collaborations that allow you to explore the distinctive coffee cultures of each city. Citadines in Singapore has partnered with Starbucks to offer this experience. The amenities and signature programming, ranging from digital maps to rooftop gyms, are designed to unlock the endless possibilities of urban living.
The Citadines Rochor Singapore is located in Tekka Place just across from Tekka market and hawker centre. The property’s Studio Executive room fits two in the 20 sqm space that features a queen bed and a sizeable kitchenette with stove, fridge, and microwave oven. Pots, utensils and dining ware are available for your convenience. But there’s really no reason to cook in the room with the plethora of food choices in the area.
The Rooms here are comfortable but the television may be a tad bit too small for my liking. Bathrooms are equipped with high-pressure showers and Vitamin Spa hair and body wash.
Starbucks coffee is available in the lobby at level 3. All the shared facilities are on this level, including the resident’s kitchen, lounge, pool, launderette, gym and a Starbucks coffee dispenser.
The wellness programme for the Enjoy a Mindful Mixology Weekender staycation at The Citadines Rochor Singapore consists of three activities. Firstly, go on an excursion to a nearby fruit store and a guided tour before the Mindful Mixology Workshop conducted by a mixologist from Bombay Sapphire Gin. The following day, you will have the opportunity to engage in a rejuvenating yoga session at the Rooftop pavilion.
Embark on a guided tour through the enchanting alleys of Little India, where a knowledgeable guide will reveal the vibrant sights and sounds of the neighborhood. Discover fascinating insights about the area that were previously unknown to you, while capturing numerous stunning photographs. If you find yourself with spare time, make sure to visit the Singapore Gem Museum at 9 Perak Road to delve into the world of gem mining and explore the diverse array of precious stones on display. There is a small fee for a guided tour here.
Return to the Resident’s Kitchen for a fun mixology session where you will learn how to make one no alcohol cocktail and two low ABV cocktails.
The one-hour restorative yoga at 9 am was worth waking up for. And if that’s not enough, go for a swim and enjoy the view of the neighbourhood.
So gather your kakis, and book the 3D2N Mindful Mixology Weekender @ Citadines Rochor Orchard before it ends 9 July.
