Samsonite’s highly anticipated Luggage Trade-in Programme is back, running from 13 March to 27 April 2025. Travellers in Singapore can trade in their pre-loved luggage of any brand, size, or condition and receive 30% off the Nuon and Octolite Neo collections—two of Samsonite’s most innovative, sustainable designs.
Beyond just a discount, this initiative is a commitment to sustainability. For every trade-in, S$10 will be donated to WWF-Singapore’s Earth Hour to support environmental conservation. All non-essential lights in Samsonite stores across Singapore will be switched off on 22 March 2025, from 8.30pm to 9.30pm in honour of Earth Hour 2025.

Upgrading to the Nuon or Octolite Neo collections means embracing sustainable innovation. The Nuon collection is designed for the modern traveller, featuring lightweight polycarbonate construction, shock-absorbing suspension wheels, and an expandable feature for extra packing space. Its security is top-notch, with anti-theft zippers and a TSA008 lock, while cabin-sized pieces are equipped with USB A & C ports for added convenience. Inside, the Recyclex material lining, made from at least 50% recycled plastic, highlights Samsonite’s ongoing commitment to responsible travel.

The Octolite Neo collection offers durable polypropylene construction with expandable compartments, allowing travellers to pack more without compromising on space. It features double wheels for easy manoeuvrability, a TSA-approved lock for security, and anti-theft zippers for peace of mind. Furthering its sustainability credentials, the zipper teeth and tape are made from 95% recycled PET plastic, making it an ideal choice for the conscious traveller.
Travellers can trade in their old luggage at any Samsonite store in Singapore or participate online via the Samsonite Singapore website. This initiative rewards customers with 30% off the Nuon™ and Octolite Neo collections, with UOB Cardholders enjoying an additional 5% off. More than just a promotional campaign, the trade-in programme is an opportunity to reduce waste, support conservation, and embrace more responsible travel choices.
