
24 October 2012, Singapore – Long haul low cost carrier Scoot will acquire 20 Boeing 787 aircraft commencing deliver in 2014. These fuel-efficient aircraft will replace the airline’s fleet of Boeing 777-200 aircraft to facilitate the airline’s expansion plans.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliners offer’s enlarged windows and unique interior climatic system for a superior level of comfort. These 20 aircraft were originally ordered by Scoot’s parent company Singapore Airlines. The airline has yet to select the airlines to power the fleet yet.
