Facebook has enhanced its sidebar space within the Facebook mobile app. It becomes a dedicated space for you and your friends to stay up to date on all things you do daily with smaller updates. This space will show the most recent updates from your friends so you can get a quick glance of your friend’s updates by flicking to the sidebar.
The Facebook sidebar is used by millions of people daily to quickly find and contact friends and loved ones while on the go.
This new feature launches today to a select countries in the asia pacific region including Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand.
Set your own sidebar status by adding what you’re up to, where you are and choose an icon to let your friends know what you are doing. Privacy is also well protected as your sidebar status won;t be seen in the News Feed. You can also choose who you would like to se it.
