AccorHotels is inaugurating the Pullman Paris Roissy CDG Airport and ibis Styles Roissy CDG Airport hotels in the Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub. This is Europe’s second largest and the world’s eighth-largest hotel in the world.
With the opening of these two hotels, the hotel operator now has over 500,000 rooms. It has plans to open over 160,000 additional rooms by 2020, including 90% under franchise and management contracts.
In France alone, AccorHotels operates 1,500 hotels. Last year, it signed an agreement with Aéroports de Paris to build three hotels in Paris-Orly airport.
Pullman Paris Roissy CDG Airport
The Pullman Paris Roissy CDG Airport is elegant and stylish offering 305 rooms and suites. There are 160 standard rooms, 80 superiors rooms, 54 deluxe rooms, 10 suites and 1 exclusive suite with a 100sqm terrace that offers a view over the runways of Terminal 2. The standard room rate starts from 179 Euros.
With areas designed by Christophe Pillet, the upscale hotel has contemporary, timeless, chic touches while maintaining Pullman’s hallmark cosmopolitan atmosphere. Cosy rooms feature spacious beds, large flat-screen television, big wardrobes and redesigned dressing tables giving an apartment feel to make the traveller feel at home.
In the bathrooms, large mirrors, mineral colours and spacious ‘rain showers’ help you get into the mood of relaxation.
The hotel has a restaurant, Culinaire Bazaar serving dishes made with local and quality produce helmed by Chef Thierry Coutable as well as a bar.
Aviation geeks would enjoying swimming at the pool with views of the runways. There are also meeting rooms and a 140sqm fitness centre with 12 of the latest generation workout machines from Technogym.
The hotel is at the centre of attractions including the Aéroville shopping mall, a temple of Parisian shopping, the Villepinte exhibition centre, which hosts more than 450 exhibitions each year, and the Paris Le Bourget exhibition centre, which hosts the world’s largest air show.
The hotel is just steps from the airport terminals with the CDG Val Airport Shuttle whisking you to the terminals in less than four minutes. The hotel is also just half-hour away from major attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum and Garnier Opera House.
Ibis Styles Roissy CDG Airport
Ibis Styles Roissy CDG Airport was envisioned by Blanchet d’Istria, an interior architecture agency. The three-star hotel exudes a fun and cool attitude offering spacious areas. There are 305 rooms here with soothing colours.
It also features Foody’s Planet, a fresh soup bar and restaurant that offers a selection of planchas and burgers from around the world. Wi-Fi here is free and there is a kids playground.
With these two hotels, 200 jobs in Greater Paris has been created.
