On 5 September 2014, Emirates launched its inaugural daily flight to Brussels in Belgium on its Boeing 777-200LR. This new daily service is expected to transport 16,000 Emirates customers between Dubai and Brussels every month. Brussels is the airline’s 145th worldwide route and 37th European passenger destination, developing business links between Belgium and key markets int he Far East. Emirates just launched flights to Oslo in Norway earlier last week and will launch flights to Budapest in Hungary on 27th October.
Based on the summer schedule, EK 183 departs Dubai at 7.50am and arrives in Brussels International Airport at 1.15pm the same day. EK 184 departs Brussels at 2.45pm and arrives at Dubai International Airport at 11.25pm the same day.
Emirates joins other Middle Eastern airlines including Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways to offer flights to Brussels. Etihad Airways has been flying between Abu Dhabi and Brussels since October 2005 with eight weekly flights.
Qatar Airways launched flights between Doha and Brussels in January 2011. Brussels was Qatar Airways’ 24th European destination then and the third new European destination launched in the same month. Today Qatar Airways flies four times a week between the two cities.
