Singapore Airlines will retrofit its existing fleet of 19 Boeing 777-300ERs from early 2015 with the same cabin products that are already fitted in the new B777-300ERs Singapore Airlines took delivery of last September.  This retrofit exercise which will cost the airline US$325 million and is scheduled to be completed by September 2016.

The new cabin products which are designed by BMW Group Designworks USA and James Park Associates, are currently available on selected daily services to London Heathrow and Tokyo Narita.

The new First Class seat features a fixed-back shell design with curved side panels for added privacy with an ergonomically sculpted cushion and adjustable headrest with customised in-seat lighting. The seat is 35 inches in width and an increased bed length of 82 inches.

The new Business Class seat lets you recline at 132 degrees with two new seating positions – Lazy Z and Sundeck. It converts in to a wide full-flat bed at 78 inches in length with a padded headboard cushion for enhanced comfort. There is more stowage space and an amenity stowage are on the side console and laptop stowage area.

The new Economy Class offers increased personal space and legroom with seats featuring new backrest cushions with side bolsters for better support. An ergonomically sculpted headrest cushion provides an increased range of height adjustments and improved neck support.

KrisWorld inflight entertainment is available onboard on 24 inch LCD screens in First Class, 18 inch LCD screens in Business and 11.1 inch in Economy.
