Thai AirAsia was recently awarded “Best of Airline” in the inaugural “The Best of Thailand Awards Voted by Chinese Tourists” organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand using votes from Weibo from 8 to 29 May 2015. Over 5.56 million users of the site vote for the airline. This project attracted the attention of 35.73 million views and with over 100 million instances of attention, indicating massive exposure among China’s travellers.
The Best of Thailand Awards Voted by Chinese Tourists is a campaign that compares Thai tourism products and services to find out which were most favoured by Chinese travellers. It covered 17 service categories of which the Best of Airline category had five airlines.
