Holland & Barrett has made a comeback after the British health and wellness retailer closed all its 12 outlets in Singapore after close to two decades here in March last year. A newly curated range of over 50 science-led wellness essentials and supplements will be available exclusively at selected Guardian stores including including Ang Mo Kio Hub, Bedok Mall, Changi Airport, Great World City, IMM Building, JEM, Jurong Point, Marina Bay Sands, NEX Serangoon, Northpoint, Novena Hospital, Paragon, Parkway Parade, Suntec City and Takashimaya Shopping Centre, and online. A wider rollout across the Guardian network is expected to be completed by the end of June 2026.
The return marks a new chapter for the 155-year-old UK wellness retailer. Instead of operating standalone stores, Holland & Barrett is partnering with Guardian Health & Beauty, giving Singapore consumers access to its products through Guardian’s extensive retail network and digital platforms.
This partnership also aligns with Guardian’s broader transformation strategy. Earlier this year, Guardian reopened its Marina Bay Sands flagship with an expanded wellness focus and enhanced technology-driven services. The addition of Holland & Barrett further strengthens its ambition to become a one-stop destination for preventive health and everyday wellness
More Singaporeans are taking a proactive approach to their wellbeing, with growing interest in areas such as sleep quality, gut health, immunity and nutritional support. Guardian and Holland & Barrett believe this shift towards preventive wellness presents an opportunity to make evidence-based health products more accessible.
