30 January 2012, Singapore – pureDKNY continues its partnership with CARE – a humanitarian organisation to help lift women out of global poverty. pureDKNY launches its latest new scent Verbana and will make a donation to support CARE’s continent-wide Access Africa programme providing resources to help even more women escape poverty.
Since the partnership between pureDKNY and CARE began in 2010 in conjunction with the launch of pureDKNY Vanilla, the Ugandan vanilla farmers were educated by the Village Savings and Loan Associations, CARE’s savings-led microfinance programme.
pureDKNY Verbana is made up of Verbana-Basil, a delicate plant. This herb has a sparkling citrus, lemon-like quality and this particular species had the additional green crisp nuance of basil providing amazing freshness and brightness to the oil.
The verbena used to produce this fragrance is purchased from mostly local women farmers in Togo.
The new pureDKNY fragrance has been made available from 27 January 2012 exclusively at TANGS and islandwide from 3 February 2012.
