SK-II opens the door to a world of new destinies with the next stage of their global #ChangeDestiny Movement. Aimed to inspire and empower women to go beyond the limitations of their DNA, stereotypes and age to take control of their own success stories, it is more than just a skincare regime.

Inspiring and Empowering Women

On 23 July 2015, MediaCorp artist and SKI-II ambassador Rebecca Lim, along with P&G and Takashimaya VIPs, officiated the ribbon cutting ceremony to the #ChangeDestiny World, right at B2 Takashimaya. There, guests will be led through five doors. Starting from hearing insightful accounts from real Singaporean women on challenges they faced, learning the story of SK-II global ambassador Tang Wei to joining the movement and pledging to #ChangeDestiny right at the end.

Founder and CEO of Wander, Krystal Choo was there during the opening to share her success story. Her simple idea of creating an app, helping singles to find other singles to travel with may have her basking in glory now, but it did not come easy. She reveals having preserved against her parents’ traditional ideals, eight years of depression and even pushing aside a steady career. Her app has now served 25,000 matches in the first month and raised US$500,000 in seed funding – living proof that courage can change destiny.

The #ChangeDestiny World will also introduce the public to SK-II’s new anti-aging range, the R.N.A. Power (Radical New Age). Evolving from the previous STEMPOWER technology, it promises firm, youthful skin by rejuvenating skin cells and promotion protein synthesis in all layers of our skin.

Rebecca enthuses about how her skin immediately felt firmer and more hydrated all day, with just two weeks of use. She even did a quick demonstration showing how dehydrated tofu (a protein) regained its bouncy, hydrated state in comparison to another essence and distilled water.

She adds on, “Taking control of how your skin looks in 10 and 15 years starts now.” Her radiant, baby smooth complexion is convincing. Those needing a push can discover your skin age at the #ChangeDestiny World with the SK-II Magic Ring test. There, you will get a personalised consultation and a sample kit to kick start your SK-II journey.

The SK-II #ChangeDestiny World is located at Takashimaya Basement Atrium, Ngee Ann City. It is open to public from 22 July to 28 July 2015, from 10am to 9.30pm.
