Singapore personal care brand Stryv has partnered Disney for the first time to launch the MagicBrush Blind Box Collection, a limited run hairbrush series that doubles as a daily grooming tool and a collectible.
Instead of selling fixed designs, each brush comes sealed in a blind box. You only discover the character after opening, leaning into the same surprise mechanics popular in designer toy culture. Six Disney Princess interpretations are included, Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel, Jasmine, Rapunzel and Moana, rendered in a modern graphic style rather than literal film artwork.

The product itself is positioned as functional first, collectible second. The brush uses 0.7 mm flexible bristles intended to detangle without tugging, while rounded tips reduce scalp friction. It works on both wet and dry hair and contains no animal-derived materials.
Roy Ang, co-founder and CEO of Evo Commerce, Stryv’s parent company, said the collaboration signals the brand’s direction beyond purely utilitarian personal care. The aim is to combine everyday essentials with emotional appeal, introducing character-led products into daily routines.
The collection will be released for a limited period through Stryv’s retail and online channels. The 1 MagicBrush Blind Box is priced at S$14.90 and the whole set carton of all six blind boxes is priced at S$89.40.
