Nine years ago, it was the first time Walking With Dinosaurs – The Live Experience came to perform in Singapore. I watched it then and was enchanted when the giant reptiles from 65 million years ago came alive in the form of life-sized animatronics.
The highly educational and entertaining show piqued my curiosity on the extinct creatures. Get excited with each scene as the stage evolves through the different stages of Earth before humans roamed the land.
Just like I will never get bored with visiting the zoo, nine years today, I am back to check out Walking With Dinosaurs – The Live Experience again. It was still wonderful and I relived my experience with the dinosaurs again, even though nothing much has changed from its first visit to Singapore.
I brought along my sister, her friend and her son. It was their first time watching the show. I enjoyed observing them getting amazed by the highly detailed and organic looking animatronics and puppetry as the show progressed. The adults went ‘wow’ just as the kids did. Adults and kids alike were astounded by the appearance of the 11-metre tall Brachiosaurus.
We were thrilled with the fight scenes between the dinosaurs and cheered on for the side they wanted to protect. As for real kids, you can hear them asking their parents if the dinosaurs were real… or did one of my companions ask me that? Hmmmm… hahaha. There’s just so much to see and so little I can tell so as not to spoil the experience for you.
Only happening for a limited time from now till 8 September 2019, you should not miss it. It is a once in a lifetime experience. #YOLO. You will learn more and better at this live show than any static dinosaur exhibition you had visited.
