The Boyz, the 11-member South Korean boy band from IST Entertainment, has added Singapore for their second world tour “ZENERATION”. They just concluded their highly-successful first world tour ” The Boyz World Tour: The B-Zone” in November last year. Their second world tour kicked off with three sold-out shows at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea from 19 to 21 May 2023. Their upcoming stops include Japan, Taiwan, Macau, the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.

The Singapore leg of the tour is set to take place on 20 July 2023, 7 pm at The Star Theatre. The group had their previous fan-con in Singapore four years ago. THE BOYZ made their debut in December 2017 and consists of 11 members: SANGYEON, JACOB, YOUNGHOON, HYUNJAE, JUYEON, KEVIN, NEW, Q, JUHAKNYEON, SUNWOO, and ERIC.

They gained recognition after participating in and winning the Mnet idol group survival show “Road to Kingdom” in 2020. They further showcased their talents on the sequel, “Kingdom: Legendary War,” in 2021, where they secured the second position. Throughout these shows, they impressed the audience with their unique and original performances, highlighting their skills and creativity.

THE BOYZ members have demonstrated their versatility in music, exploring diverse genres like Rock, EDM, and Hip-Hop, among others. This experimentation has resulted in a wide range of concepts, ranging from upbeat and youthful tracks like “D.D.D.” (2019) and “Bloom Bloom” (2019) to darker and enigmatic vibes in “REVEAL” (2020) and “The Stealer” (2020).

In 2021, THE BOYZ achieved a significant milestone as the first 4th generation boy group to win all major K-pop music shows with their track “Maverick” (2021). Earlier this year, in February, they released their latest mini album, “[BE AWAKE],” which includes the title track “ROAR” (2023). “ROAR” amassed an impressive 22 wins, the highest among all other 4th generation groups.

“[BE AWAKE]” also achieved remarkable success on the charts. It topped the iTunes Top Albums Charts in 11 regions, and all six tracks from the album debuted on Melon’s and Bugs’ Top 100 charts. Melon and Bugs are widely used music streaming services in South Korea.
