Opening Show of Audi Fashion Festival 2012 – MUGLER Autumn/Winter 2012

16 May 2012, Singapore – The Audi Fashion Festival 2012 opened today with the MUGLER Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. Lead by Creative Director Nicola Formichetti, you would have expected a collection with his signature loud elements from his renown creations for Lady Gaga. Instead, the synergy between Nicola Formichetti and designer Sebastian Peigne, presented a subtly loud and clean chic ready-to-wear collection.

At the press conference earlier this afternoon, Nicola Formichetti shared some interesting insights.  He mentioned that Mugler will be launching a collection of bags in the next season.  He finds magazines boring these days and only purchased them when he flies.   He also described his best friend forever (BFF) Lady Gaga’s edgy look and fashion sense as “Make Us Dream”.  He urges youth designers to take risk in their youth.
