It is now confirmed that a Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 with the SG50 livery will take part in Singapore’s 50th birthday National Day Parade. It will feature a special 10m tall and 47m long Singapore flag-themed livery and make a fly past over the Marina Bay at the closing of the Vintage Parade segment of the show.
20 Singapore Girls will also be on ground on trishaws during this parade segment.
The Singapore Airlines A380 will make its debut flypast in the 1 August 2015 during the Preview Show ahead of the official flypast on 9 August 2015.
Singapore Airlines will have two such A380 aircraft in its fleet through the end of this year. The special SG50 livery aircraft will fly to Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Mumbai, New Delhi, Shanghai, Sydney and Zurich.
