13 April 2012, Singapore – I remember Twelfth Night from college and the phrase that’s forever stuck with me would be “If music be the food of love, play on”. That’s exactly what the organisers Singapore Repertory Theatre have done by bringing in yet another year of Shakespeare in The Park from 25 April till 20 May 2012. This production of Twelfth Night has a modern twist with a festive feel to it and it stars Adrian Pang and Daniel Jenkins.
30,000 people attended Macbeth in last year’s Shakespeare in the Park and its growing popularity has spurred SRT to make this an annual event on Singapore’s cultural calendar.
Twelfth Night promises to be bigger and better this year so head down to Fort Canning for an enjoyable picnic.
