SINEQUANONE Now in Robinsons Singapore

sinequanoneI know. Sinequanone is three syllables too many for you to pronounce already. Say “see-nei-kwa-non”. It is Latin for “that which (we) cannot do without”. Therefore in Singlish it must mean “die die must have”.

The 45-year-old French once-family-run fashion line is now in Singapore and exclusive to Robinsons. The label debuted its strikingly wearable clothes in Robinsons’ personal shopper salon (on level three) amidst sine qua none macarons and fruit chocolate fondue and sparkling apple juice. A delight. And a browse-thru the sinequanone clothes racks revealed the feminine dresses which are more chic and cool than sophisticate – just what the working girl wants. Said the elegant Madam Isabelle Aliix, its CEO, “It’s trendy, without going to extremes.”

This brand could well be a girl and a woman’s best friend. From S$79 and up, and up to size 42, with a few designs in 44.
