They’ve recently launched eight new items including Dry Mee Siam, Black Pepper Chicken and Unagi Onigiri. The Honey Chicken leg is priced at S$3.60 while the Nyonya Dry Mee Siam is priced at S$3.50. The red velvet lava cake is priced at S$2.80. You can get yourself a Chicken Floss Onigiri or the Unagi Onigiri for S$2.50. Perfect for tea break. Or for the sweet tooth, there’s the Red Velvet Lava cake at S$2.80.
If you feel like going meat-free, there is a range from Quorn which originated from the UK in 1978. Quorn products’ main ingredient is Mycoprotien, a nutritionally healthy source of protein by a process of fermentiation. That’s similar to yeast in bread, using a natural nutritious fungus from the soil and fermenting it to produce a dough called Mycoprotein. Mycoprotein has been clinically proven to reduce blood cholesterol among people who are suffering from high cholesterol and help manage diabetes by contributing to reduction of blood glucose and insulin levels.

The older folks like myself will be familiar with the chicken cubes, ikan bilis cubes. beef cubes. Now there’s also the Tom Yam and Chicken No Added MSG cubes. Old Chang Kee launched Chicken Kopi’o on 11 November 2017. We haven’t tasted them yet and can’t imagine the taste of tender chicken and mushroom cubes marinated in home-made Coffee sauce. They are priced at S$1.80 each or 2 for S$3 at all Old Chang Kee outlets till 31 December 2017.
