Olympus Global Open Photo Contest 2015 is now open for entries from amateurs and professional photographers from around the world. And you can use any make and type of camera including smartphones. The grand prize for this competition is the latest Olympus PEN Camera and JPY1 million. Other prizes include Olympus OM-D and PEN interchangeable lens cameras as well as custom edition Moleskin notebooks.
The still photography competition has four subject categories including “Life”, “Future”, “People” and “Technical”. These four subject categories are divided into five themes and you can submit entries online based on a theme, or themes of your choice. The photo contest will be judged by a panel of international photography experts.
Entries will be accepted through http://gopc.olympus-imaging.com/ till 20 November 2015.
Viewers can also visit the contest site to browse the submissions and win prizes by participating in a “Viewer’s Raffle”.
