The 18th Charity Midnight Run 2015 by Amari Watergate Bangkok and BMW Thailand will take place this year on 17 October 2015. Over 7,000 participants are expected at this year’s run.

The organisers of the charity run hopes to raise THB5 million to support a variety of causes including Chalerm Prakit School in Lampoon for children who have lost their parents to AIDs; Baht for a Better Life, Amari’s CSR programme dedicated to offering education opportunities for underprivileged children in Bangkok and rural areas of Thailand; and Baan Gerda in Lopburi province, a home which provides for and supports HIV-infected orphans.

The full running course will be free of traffic, with clear roads and a cooler night temperature in the heart of Bangkok. There are two routes to choose from. The registration fee for the 6km run is THB500 while the 12km run is THB1,000. Registration fee comes with race registration and running number, pre-race souvenir pack and commemorative finisher’s medal. Once you have registered, you would be automatically entered into a grand raffle for a chance to win exciting prizes.

The male and female winners of the 12km race will be presented with a ‘Royal Trophy’ from HRH Princess Sirindhorn. The best dressed team in a Fancy Dressed competition will also receive a trophy.

Registration is open till 30 September 2015. Sign up here. Registrations will not be accepted on race day.

Race Kits can be collected from Amari Watergate Bangkok at Petchburi Road, Bangkok on Saturday 17 October 2015 from 10am to 6pm at the Concierge or 6pm to 11.30pm at Lower Lobby.
