Today, Huawei unveiled a new lineup of connected devices in its global “Now Is Your Spark” launch event in Bangkok, Thailand. Unveiled with the new HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max tablet, HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series, HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition, HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition, HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Series and the HUAWEI nova 15 Max smartphone.
Huawei has partnered with jewellery designer Francesca Amfitheatrof to create the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition 2026. Priced at €3,799, this diamond-studded smartwatch features 99 natural diamonds and diamond-cut sapphire glass. The diamond-set vine motif strap is designed with the Fibonacci golden ratio with a high-polish mirror finish.
Amfitheatrof is best known for her work in luxury and jewellery and previously served as Artistic Director of Watches and Jewellery at Louis Vuitton from 2018 to 2025. Before that, she was design director at Tiffany & Co. She launched her own creative studio this year and partnered with Huawei for this latest smartwatch collaboration.
The Spring edition draws inspiration from “Spring’s Awakening” and incorporates natural forms, soft curves, and the Fibonacci sequence into its design language. Amfitheatrof described the watch as “a symbol of vibrant life blooming at the wrist.”
Additional features include eSIM support for cellular calls, wrist-based payments, and an Emergency SOS function activated by pressing the crown five times rapidly. Compatible with both iOS and Android devices, the smartwatch also offers health monitoring features, though it is not intended for medical use. Three advanced sensors, ECG, PPG and pressure sensors, work together to generate a health overview covering 11 key indicators, including cardiovascular and respiratory health, while tracking subtle physiological changes. Battery life is rated at up to two to three days in standard mode, or between three and seven days when Battery Saver mode is enabled.
