M1’s latest integrated Smart Activity Monitoring Service will allow caregivers to access real time information to help them monitor independent seniors living alone in an un-intrusive manner. This service is open to M1 fibre customers only.
M1 has partnered with activity monitoring solution providers to launch this service so that caregivers has a one-stop solution including equipment installation, connectivity, customer support and affordable pricing.
The service is priced at S$14.66 per month with a one-time sign-up and installation fee of S$214 and comes with:
- One motion sensor
- Installation
- Real-time and historical access to the portal
- Additional motion sensors can be purchased at S$103.80 each
Alerts can be set to notify caregivers if no activity has been detected past a pre-set period of time or if the activity is occurring at abnormal intervals.
Door sensors can also be installed to alert the caregiver if a senior exits the home, and when integrated with M1’s VSafe service, let the caregiver know where the senior is. In future the service can support other sensors including smoke, gas, temperature sensors and wearable ‘fall’ sensors.
