YouTrip Launches Global eSIM from S$1 in 140+ Countries

If swapping SIM cards at the airport still feels like part of your travel ritual, YouTrip, the multi-currency wallet, has officially made it obsolete.

YouTrip has rolled out its global eSIM, offering roaming data in 140+ countries from just S$1, fully integrated within the YouTrip app. You can now purchase, activate, and track data usage directly under the Travel tab, with upfront pricing and real-time monitoring to avoid bill shock on the road.

For travellers heading to China, a common question is whether the eSIM works there. It does, provided your device supports eSIM, and the plan is installed and activated before arrival. Mobile data can then be used for browsing, messaging, and other online services routed internationally. So yes, you may access your Gmail, Google, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. That said, China’s internet restrictions still apply. Some apps and websites may remain inaccessible due to local regulations, regardless of provider. This is a countrywide policy, not a limitation of the YouTrip eSIM itself.

Early access began in November 2025 and demand was strongest for destinations Singaporeans travel to most, Malaysia, Japan, and China, with one in six users buying a Malaysia eSIM for Johor Bahru day trips.
