ANA celebrates 30 years of international flights on 3 March 2016. The Japanese airline’s inaugural international flight was between Tokyo and Guam on 3 March 1986. It has since expanded its international routes flying to 59 routes in 39 cities.

Last year, it launched four new international routes from Narita to Houston, Kuala Lumpur, Brussels and Haneda to Sydney. This year it will introduce flights to Wuhan in Central China and Phnom Penh in Cambodia.

Last year, ANA passed another major milestone, exceeding 100 million passengers on ANA international flights. The airline was the first and only Japanese airline to be recognised with the highest 5-Star rating for SKYTRAX in 2012 and maintained this prestigious standing for three consecutive years.
