Singapore Airlines is launching five-times-weekly services on its Airbus A350-900 long-haul variant with 42 seats in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy Class and 187 in Economy Class, to Madrid via Barcelona on 26 October 2026. Its current twice-weekly Singapore-Barcelona flights SQ388 and SQ387 will be restructured to operate on the route. Madrid will be the airline’s 15th destination in Europe and second in Spain.
The inaugural flight to Madrid, SQ388 is scheduled to depart Singapore at 11.30pm (local time) on 26 October 2026 and arrive in Barcelona at 6.40am (local time) on 27 October 2026. It will depart Barcelona at 7.40am and arrive in Madrid at 8.50am (local time) on the same day. The return flight, SQ387, will depart Madrid at 10am (local time) on 27 October 2026 and arrive in Barcelona at 11.15am (local time). It will then depart Barcelona at 12.35pm (local time) the same day and arrive in Singapore at 8.25am (local time the next day).
SIA will also introduce additional services progressively to Manchester, Milan, Munich and London Gatwick from July this year.
