Bring along a book for your next holiday and rediscover the joys of reading over again. Before we had inflight entertainment screens and onboard movies and music, we used to read to keep ourselves occupied. Many of the younger generation population may not get the chance to enjoy the joys of reading. There are just too many distractions these days. Smart devices have taken over our planet.
Getting back into the joy of reading is exactly what Jetstar Asia hopes to achieve in its collaboration with the National Reading Movement. Jetstar’s Big Book Swap will be available on all Jetstar Asia flights from 30 July to 31 August 2016.
30 July is Singapore’s inaugural National Reading Day. Over 500 books and bestselling titles have been donated by the National Library Board, MPH Bookstores, Select Books, Book Point and Write Editions. These books will be distributed to passengers at the boarding gates of selected Jetstar flights at Changi Airport Terminal 1.
Take the book with you but do return it on your return Jetstar flight back to Singapore for the next passenger.
