Jetstar is back with yet another interesting marketing campaign. This time the low cost carrier has teamed up with locally renowned artist Michael Ng looking for people to feature on its A320 aircraft livery. Michael will transform the facade of a Jetstar A320 aircraft with his signature whimsical and colourful artwork incorporating the faces of local heroes who are ordinary Singaporeans into his design.

Michel Ng’s work has been exhibited at the National Art Gallery, Singapore Art Museum, National Museum, Singapore Night Festival, Singapore Heritage Festival and The Pier-2 Art Centre (Kaoshiung, Taiwan). He is also a founding member of the illustrator group Organisation of Illustrators Council (OIC) Singapore where he actively engages and challenges young illustrators.

Ordinary Singaporeans can visit Jetstar Asia’s Facebook page to nominate their heroes now. These heroes could be anyone.  The most compelling nominees will be selected and the special livery will be unveiled in conjunction with National Day 2015. But hurry as nominations close on 17 May 2015.
