Lufthansa Bedtime Stories, a new marketing campaign, lets parents help their children fall asleep with a bedtime story just before they fly off, literally.
Bedtime Stories installation will be available as a mobile recording studio at the boarding gates in Frankfurt and Munich. The speaker box is designed in the shape of a moon, and here parents can choose a bedtime story, record it directly and send it to their children at home via e-mail or a text message. Children then click on the link and gets redirected to the microsite where they can download or listen directly.
If you are short on time, you can just choose from a selection of pre-recorded stories to be sent home as audio books. You can personalise every recording with individually written goodnight wishes and a photo on the cover.
Lufthansa has worked with renowned publishing companies to offer a large selection of popular children’s books to choose from.
This nice surprise for your kids could give you a nice warm fuzzy feeling during your flight back.
Enjoy the features of this service even when you are not in the airport. Visit the microsite at LH.com/bedtime-stories. Famous German actor Axel Prahl reads aloud its favourite children’s books.
The Lufthansa Bedtime Stories campaign will be supported with traditional advertisements via social media and the Lufthansa Magazine Family. Personal stories about flying with Lufthansa have been posted on the microsite. Employees also give you an insight into their workplaces.
