Malaysia Airlines will introduce the new Business Class seats in 15 of its Airbus A330-300 aircraft from April next year. Retrofitting the 15 aircraft is scheduled to be completed by September 2016. Malaysia Airlines’ A330-300 is configured with 27 Business Class seats and 263 Economy Class seats.
First unveiled at the World Travel Mart in London few days back, the new business class seats offer a seat pitch of 43 inches and a width of 20.6 inches and length of 76 inches when in a full flat position.
It will come with an increased working space. 90% of all seats have direct aisle access with its 1-2-1 and 1-2-2 seat configuration.
There will be extra stowage space and each seat is equipped with a Panasonic 16-inch touch screen inflight entertainment system.
