United Airlines is introducing a new set of amenity kits containing Cowshed products for United Global First and United BusinessFirst long-haul international flights to and from the United States from August 2015. These new amenity kits will be the airline’s latest this year following its second-edition commemorative amenity tins and PGA Tour-themed amenity kits.
Soho House founder Nick Jones bought Babington House, an 18 acre country estate in Somerset, England in 1998 offering luxury accommodations, exquisite food and breathtaking views of the English countryside. The Cowshed is an award-winning bath, body and skin care products brand . The products were created over 16 years ago to fit the unique Soho House personality for the enjoyment of their spa and House guests. The products are made in England, containing a variety of organic ingredients, wildcrafted plant extracts and pure, high-quality essential oils that are harvested organically.
A premium, earth tone kit will contain Cowshed’s moisturising hand cream, Lippy Cow Natural Lip Balm and Chamomile Refreshing Towelette. United Global First Kits will also contain Cowshed’s Quinoa Hydrating Daily Moisturiser and Jasmine Toning Eye Balm. Other items in the kits include socks, an eye mask, tissue, ear plugs, a toothbrush with toothpaste and dental floss.
The lavatories in premium cabins of United’s International fleet will also offer Cowshed products such as the Chamomile Refreshing Toner and Lavender Gentle Cleanser.
United Club shower facilities at airports in Chicago, New York/Newark, Houston, Hong Kong, London and Tokyo as well as the United Arrivals Lounge in San Francisco will supply Cowshed’s Cowlick Gentle Shampoo, Saucy Cow Softening Conditioner, Knackered Cow Relaxing Bath and Shower Gel and Knackered Cow Relaxing Body Lotion. A freshening hand wash and moisturising hand cream will also be available in these facilities as well as in United Global First lounges in Chicago, San Francisco, Washington D.C., London, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
MileagePlus members can experience Cowshed spas first hand for a rejuvenating getaway. The loyalty programme will give members the opportunity to bid on an escape to Soho House’s Babington House, Somerset in the United Kingdom. The Soho Beach House in Miami will also be available for bidding later.
Delta Airlines have been providing TUMI amenity kits since 2013. Earlier this month, Delta One customers have received updated amenity kits featuring a fresh design and new features including striped socks.
The TUMI amenity kits come in a custom designed hard- and soft-side containing a TUMI soft-touch pen and eyeshades, MALIN+GOETZ Lip moisturiser, body lotion and new mouthwash, striped socks, facial tissues, earplugs and a dental kit with Crest toothpaste.
The airline will alternate the hard and soft kits in the direction of travel so customers can collect one each way.
Customers travelling in Delta Comfort+ will also receive a new sleep kit with the addition of a toothbrush and toothpaste as well as an eye mask and earplugs on all long-haul international flights.
Economy class customers will continue to receive a sleep kit with an eye mask and ear plugs on international flights.
