SilkAir will be offering the exit rows for Preferred Seat purchase when you make your booking on silkair.com. These preferred seats can be purchased anytime before check-in opens 48 hours before flight departure.
Preferred seats offer more legroom and will be offered at a fee of US$40 for flights to and from China, India, Australia and Nepal or US$20 for flights to and from all other SilkAir destinations.
To qualify for these preferred seats, you would need to be at least 15 years old, be able bodied and capable of opening the exit doors in an emergency, be able to follow the safety instructions in English, be in good health, not pregnant or carrying infants and be sober.
