TripAdvisor launches a free, fully-native app for iPhone and Android devices with an enhanced faster user experience and other new features.
The app lets you compare booking options at a glance with up-to-the minute hotel prices and availability with the new Hotel Price Comparison (metasearch). Toggle between a list function and a synchronised map view of accommodations, attractions or restaurants in real-time.
An iPad version of the app is also available which integrates meta search and dynamic maps functionality as well as finger-friendly touch interface with travel planning features. It now comes with high-resolution photos ideal for portrait mode. You can also see everything surrounding a specific point of interest. TripAdvisor has also added new city pages to explore all the best things to do.
TripAdvisor has close to 80 million average monthly mobile visitors. TripAdvisor has more than 50 million downloads to date. The free apps are available in 20 languages. The app is now available for download at the iTunes App Store or Google Play.
