BYD, together with Sime Motors and dealer partners MotorEast, 1826, Harmony Auto and Jack Cars, has launched the BYD SEAL 6 EV, a fully electric executive sedan designed for Cat A COE eligibility in Singapore.
The model builds on BYD’s growing global momentum, having sold over 10,000 units per month from March to July 2025, and exceeding 50,000 cumulative units as of August 2025 across China and other markets.
Premium Electric Mobility for Cat A Drivers
The BYD SEAL 6 EV combines performance, design and practicality at an accessible price point for Singapore’s urban drivers. It is powered by a 95 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces 220 Nm of torque, achieving 0–100 km/h in 10.9 seconds.
Equipped with BYD’s 56.64 kWh Blade Battery, the sedan delivers a WLTC-combined range of up to 425 km on a full charge. Using DC fast charging, the SEAL 6 EV can recharge from 30% to 80% in just 25 minutes, making it suitable for daily commutes and longer journeys alike.

Special Launch Price
The BYD SEAL 6 EV will be available at BYD showrooms islandwide from 1 October 2025. To keep pricing competitive, BYD will absorb the recent COE increase as part of a limited-time launch offer valid until 8 October 2025.
The model is priced at S$179,888, inclusive of a guaranteed Cat A COE, positioning it as one of the most attractive all-electric sedans in its class.
