Hair Loss in Singapore? PHYTO PARIS Builds a Simple Scalp-Care Routine

Hair-loss products can be confusing. PHYTO PARIS’ routine is easier to understand when you break it into three steps: clean the scalp, choose the right shampoo and apply a daily serum.

Walk into a beauty store, and you may find shelves filled with scalp tonics, serums, shampoos and treatments. All promising better hair. But which bottle are you supposed to use? Do you need all of them? And what exactly is a scalp serum?

French haircare brand PHYTO PARIS has introduced a scalp-first routine in Singapore. Its basic message is simple: healthy-looking hair starts with taking care of the skin underneath it.

The range includes four products:

Here is what each product does, in plain English.

First, what kind of hair loss are we talking about?

Not all hair loss is the same.

Temporary shedding can happen after a stressful period, illness, hormonal changes or a lack of rest. You may notice more hair than usual on your pillow, in the shower or on your brush. Progressive thinning happens more slowly. Your hair may gradually look less full, or certain areas of your scalp may become easier to see.

PHYTO PARIS recommends its Ultra Serum for temporary shedding and its Phytocyane shampoos for gradual thinning. Polleine can be added as a weekly scalp-cleaning step.

These products may help care for your scalp and make your hair look healthier. They are not medical treatments and cannot solve every cause of hair loss.

Step one: Clean your scalp with Polleine

Think of Polleine as a weekly deep clean for your scalp. It is used before shampooing to help remove oil, sweat, product build-up and other dirt sitting on the scalp. PHYTO PARIS recommends using it once a week.

The treatment contains 10 essential oils, including eucalyptus, thyme, lavender, lemon, sage and rosemary. These ingredients are meant to leave the scalp feeling cleaner, fresher and more comfortable.

Do you absolutely need it? Not necessarily. But it may be useful if your scalp often feels oily or if you regularly use styling products or dry shampoo.

Step two: Choose the right Phytocyane shampoo

PHYTO PARIS makes different anti-hair-loss shampoos for women and men because their thinning patterns can differ.

The women’s version is meant for diffuse thinning. This means the hair looks less full across a larger part of the scalp rather than in one small spot. The men’s version is aimed at more localised thinning, where hair loss is noticeable in specific areas. Both shampoos gently clean the scalp and contain botanical ingredients such as maca, lupin and rosemary extracts.

The women’s formula also contains tulip extract to help hair look fuller and denser. The men’s formula uses shiitake extract to help hair look stronger.

Will the shampoo grow back lost hair? The brand does not say that it will. It is better to think of it as a supportive shampoo for the scalp and weakened hair. Not a miracle cure.

Step three: Apply Phytophanère Ultra Serum daily

Phytophanère Ultra Serum is a leave-on product for people experiencing temporary shedding. “Leave-on” simply means that you apply it to your scalp and do not rinse it off.

The serum contains ginseng and pumpkin extracts to care for the scalp. Milk thistle and tulip extracts are included to strengthen the hair fibres and reduce breakage. It also contains rosemary extract and Vitamins B5 and B6. PHYTO PARIS says the serum feels light and leaves no greasy or sticky finish, so it can be used daily.

The brand reports that 90% of users felt their hair grew longer faster after three months. This result came from a small study involving 27 women and was based on their satisfaction with the product.

In other words, some users liked the results, but the figure should not be treated as a guarantee that everyone will experience the same outcome.

Do you need to buy the whole routine?

Probably not. Choose a product based on what you are experiencing:

  • Use Polleine if your scalp feels oily or has a lot of product build-up.
  • Consider Phytophanère Ultra Serum if you are going through a period of temporary shedding.
  • Look at the Phytocyane shampoos if your hair has been gradually becoming thinner.
  • Speak to a doctor if the hair loss is sudden, severe, painful or continues for a long time.

You could use the products together, but buying the entire range is not automatically better. A simple routine that you can follow regularly is usually more practical than a complicated one you abandon after a week.

Where can you buy PHYTO PARIS in Singapore?

PHYTO PARIS showcased the scalp-care range at the Guardian Health & Beauty Fiesta in July 2026. The products are available through the brand’s official Shopee channel. When the range was announced, PHYTO PARIS said that sales through Shopee, Guardian, and Lazada would follow.

The simple takeaway

PHYTO PARIS’ routine sounds complicated because it contains several products, but the idea behind it is straightforward:

  1. Clean the scalp properly.
  2. Use a shampoo suited to your type of thinning.
  3. Apply the serum daily if you are experiencing temporary shedding.

The products may help your scalp feel cleaner and support stronger, healthier-looking hair. However, hair loss can have many causes, including stress, genetics, nutrition, medication and medical conditions.

If you are losing a worrying amount of hair or can see bald patches, skip the guesswork and speak to a doctor or dermatologist.
