The Apprentice Asia: Tony Fernandes – 12 Candidates – Hot Action on AXN

AXN presents another made-in Asia-for-Asia original production filmed in Singapore and Malaysia in May 2013 – THE APPRENTICE ASIA featuring AirAsia head honcho Tony Fernandes and his advisors Mark Lankester, CEO of Tune Hotels Group and Kathleen Tan, CEO of Expedia Asia and 12 candidates from around Asia aged between 25 and 38.

The 12 candidates with backgrounds in entertainment, food & beverage, hospitality, information technology, and the legal and finance world from around Asia will vie for the opportunity to work for Tony in one of his businesses.  They will be tested on their selling, negotiation, creativity, management, branding and leadership skills throughout the season.

The first episode promises to be an interesting one with the candidates given the challenge of selling fish.  It will air on AXN (StarHub TV Channel 511) on 22 May 2013 and subsequently every Wednesday at 9.05pm in Singapore.  The Apprentice Asia is presented by AirAsia, Expedia, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, IG, Official Smartphone BlackBerry and official car Volkswagen Malaysia.
