“Building People” Photo Exhibition

July 2011, Singapore – CapitaLand and National Geographic Channel will showcase the role of CapitaLand buildings play in our everyday lives at the “Building People” photo exhibition located at ION Station, Basement 4, ION Orchard from 10am to 10pm from 6 to 9 August 2011.

You can expect over 120 breathtaking photo entries by photo enthusiasts. These photos that portray the way people live, work and shop around CapitaLand buildings are selected from 1200 entries selected from across Asia Pacific and Europe.

In April, CapitaLand and National Geographic Channel launched the “Building People” photography competition for the second year, inviting photography enthusiasts to tell their own visual stories of how buildings and people interact. From an overwhelming response across Asia, three winners have been selected by the judging panel and award-winning National Geographic Channel photographer Catherine Karnow, with a special “Viewers’ Choice Award” picked by public vote.
