Life Insurance Week started on 14 October and will continue till 20 October 2013. The inaugural event for the Life Insurance Association features the insurance industry’s activities for the public such as free health checks as well as industry-wide fundraising pledges.
Free health checks are available at Chevron House, nex @ Serangoon Central, Fusionopolis and Mapletree Business City during the week. You can get your free health check at Fusionopolis Podium at Level One today and at Mapletree Business City, Open Plaza tomorrow from 11.30am to 2.30pm. These health checks will include height, weight, BMI, blood pressure measurement, bone and joint profile, cholesterol and diabetes tests.
In the month of October, member companies of the Life Insurance Association will donate S$1 to the Singapore Heart Foundation for every policy sold. The proceeds will support the Singapore Heart Foundation’s second Heart Wellness Rehabilitation Centre that is slated to open in January 2014.
