28 September 2011, Singapore – Multi-talented Selena Gomez will be hosting the 2011 MTV EMA. The awards show will be broadcast live on MTV on 6 November 2011 at 9PM CET Sunday from Belfast’s Odyssey Arena.
Selena will be overseeing all the onstage antics, performances, winners and unforgettable moments of the evening. On the digital front, Selena well engage fans through checking in with the Twitterverse, sharing behind-the-scenes gossip and offering her own commentary on mtvema.com.
Selena released her third album “When The Sun Comes Down” in 2011 and “A Year Without Rain” the year before. She has landed three Billboard Club Play #1’s. Born in Dallas, Selena started acting at 7 and landed her first film role in the 2003 sci-fi action adventure film “Spy Kids 3D: Game”. Selena is also a proud UNICEF ambassador.
