The Singapore Zombie Walk returns for Halloween taking over The Cathay. First started in Toronto in 2003, the zombie walk has spread to cities all over the world. Participants dress up as zombies and move from point A to point B while staying in character.
To be held on 26 October at The Cathay at 9pm, some 500 walkers will be expected to stumble and stagger their way through the mall. At 7.30pm there will be “Back for seconds” festival with prizes where you can try your hand at Wii gaming stations and enjoy rock band performances amongst other activities.
The Singapore Zombie Walk held its inaugural event last year at Clarke Quay and 131 participants took part. This year, the organisers are working with Food Bank Singapore to help feed the poor and needy in Singapore.
