Usher in the 2011 at Marina Bay Sands with the Pointer Sisters

Usher in the new year at Marina Bay Sands’ first New Year Countdown.  Be entertained by Grammy-award winning Pointer Sisters at the Sands Grand Ballroom at 10pm.  After which, ticket holders can enjoy free champagin at the decks of the Sands Expo and Convention Centre to join in the Marina Bay countdown.

Meanwhile, the Sands SkyPark, 200 meters above ground, promises to be the most unique venue to watch the spectacular firework display.  With tickets priced at S$200 for members of the public, the Observation Deck will deliver a once-in-a-lifetime experience as guests nibble on canapés and sip two complimentary glasses of champagne and join the rest of the revelers out to catch the firework spectacle against Singapore’s glittering skyline.  Celebrations start at 10:30pm and ends at 1:30am.

The Sands SkyPark will be open to members of the public from 10am to 9pm on December 31st, 2010 with tickets priced at S$20 for adults, S$14 for children (aged between 2 – 12 years) and S$17 for senior citizens (aged 55 years and above).   The SkyPark re-opens at 10:30pm to welcome guests celebrating New Year’s Eve at the Observation Deck. Tickets priced at S$200 with two complimentary glasses of champagne and a Marina Bay Sands party bag.

Tickets for New Year’s celebrations can be purchased at the SkyPark ticketing counter from 10am onwards. Sands SkyPark ticketing counter is located at Basement 1. Public entrance to the ticketing counter is outside Hotel Tower 3 in the Porte Cochere area, off Bayfront Avenue, level 1.
