Transformers Cybertron Con 2012 in Singapore March 2012

4 February 2012, Singapore – Singapore gets its first Resorts World Sentosa Singapore Transformers Cybertron Con 2012.  This is the second edition of the TRANSFORMERS Cybertron Convention with the inaugural convention held previously in Shanghai in 2010.   (Check out the merchandise that will be available and the media preview held on 10 March 2012.)

What can I expect at “Cybertron Con”?

You can expect a stunning exhibition of TRANSFORMERS collectible toys as well as activities for fans to experience a wide variety of offerings from Hasbro’s toy line and entertainment in this bi-annual event.  You will be able to view extensive artwork and information about characters and stories from different eras of the brand from “Beast Wars” to the most recent entertainment blockbuster movie and current “Transformers Prime” animated series produced by Hasbro Studios.

A 22-feet-tall Optimus Prime statue will be on display for photo opportunity and you will also get a chance to meet with special guests and TRANSFORMERS experts from Hasbro.  Mr. Hideaki Yoki, the lead designer of TRANSFORMERS in Takara Tomy will be one of the many special guests.  More appearances will be announced by the organiser closer to the date of the event.

What other highlights can I expect at “Cybertron Con”?

• TRANSFORMERS drawing classes by top Hasbro artists (at select times);
• Three-dimensional action figure dioramas capturing scenes from popular TRANSFORMERS entertainment including the blockbuster movies
• National “Fastest Fingers First‟ Challenge, testing convention goers‟ skills at converting TRANSFORMERS action figures from “robot” to “vehicle” modes

Are there TRANSFORMERS merchandise for sale at the event?

Yes, there will be merchandise as well as exclusive Cybertron Con items at the event.  More details will be revealed at the event.

Children aged 3 and below will enjoy free admission to the event.
