11 April 2012, Singapore – First it was America’s Next Top Model which is airing its 18th cycle in the United States, then Refinery Media launched SUPERMODELME.tv with it’s third season this year. There seems to be a a trend in these modeling reality shows in this region because the Asian adaptation of America’s Next Top Model is set to celebrate Asia’s fashion profile and positioning amongst the other fashion capitals of Paris, Milan and New York with an Asian version of the reality series brought in by Ice-TV Asia.

Asia’s Next Top Model will be broadcasted across Asia from late 2012. With 13 episodes of fresh new Asian modelling talent, you would be exposed to the calibre of work and passion that builds and sustains this industry.
Hosting the show will be former international model, VJ, actress and presenter Nadya Hutagalung. She was born to an Indonesian father and Australian mother and was voted one of “Asia’s Leading Trendmakers” by Asia Week magazine in November 2000 alongside the Dalai Lama, Michelle Yeoh and Chow Yun Fatt.
“To be a top model takes determination, hard work and focus. There is also a great need to be a consummate professional”, comments Hutalagung. “There are so many beautiful girls in Asia aspiring to walk the catwalks of Milan and Paris. This show intends to find them, mentor and coach them to help fast track their rise to international success.”
The series is now casting for females of Asian descent residing in Asia who are aged 18 to 27 years old . They have to speak and understand English to be eligible to sign up. Visitto enroll and the closing date is 7 May 2012, 6pm Singapore time.
The winner will walk away with a contract with a major modelling agency and a cover shoot and fashion photo spread in a top fashion magazine.
