The EDIFICE Scuderia Toro Rosso Limited Edition EFR-554Tr will be the latest addition to the EDIFICE Line of metal sport watches. It marks Casio’s first partnership model with the Formula One team Scuderia Toro Rosso.
Announced at an event at the Energy Station in the Paddock, Scuderia Toro Rosso drivers Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat were riding on a stationary bicycle and their time was beaten by an EFR-554TR Casio watch.
In January this year, Casio became an official partner of the Scuderia Toro Rosso racing team. The team’s youthful dynamism, momentum and passionate pursuit of speed, paired with its racing cars powered by outstanding technological innovations make Scuderia Toro Rosso a perfect match for the EDIFICE brand concept of “Speed and Intelligence”.
This new exclusive model commemorates the official partnership with Scuderia Toro Rosso. Team colour red is used to accent the second hand and the hands of the inset dials, while navy blue and gold are used as accent colours in various other places including the case and hour and minute hands. The team logo is featured on the watch face and back cover. The three inset dials evoke motor sports.
The new timepiece features a 10-bar water resistance; 1-second stopwatch with a measuring capacity of 29’59” with measuring modes of elapsed time, split time, 1st-2nd place times; date display; accuracy at normal temperature of plus or minus 20 seconds per month; three years battery life on SR920SW; case size of 51.2 cross 47.1 cross and 11.9mm and weighs approximately 152g.
The EDIFICE EFT-554TR will be priced at S$319 and is expected to be available in Singapore by end September.
