29 November 2012, Singapore – Casio opens their first G-Shock concept store named “G-SHOCK” in Asia at Plaza Singapura yesterday as part of G-Shock’s 30th anniversary. The 382 square feet concept store is dedicated to only G-Shocks and Baby-G.
Casio has collaborated AOS, a six man DJ/Emcee Collective comprising of three Butterfactory Resident DJs Andrew T, Dave Does and Stanley and three international talents T.T., Hapa & N’fa, and The Killer Gerbil to launch the limited edition watches.
Designed by AOS, the watch features a sound wave motif signifying the power of music and the collective’s creativity as music makers and party starters. The G-8900A will be available exclusively at the G-Shock concept store from December 2012 at a retail price of S$209 each
Designed by The Killer Gibil, alter ego of local visual artist Luthfi Mustafah, the GD-100 features a coloured illustration of the Killer Gerbil over the length of the lower watch strap, a blue motif with the character’s name and text in graffiti font, representative of the artist’s forte. The GD-100 is currently available exclusively at G-SHOCK at S$209.
