17 August 2011, Singapore – Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz AB commonly known as H&M opens it’s 30,000 square feet Southeast Asian flagship store in Singapore at Orchard Building on 3 September 2011!! Now residents of Singapore and neighbouring countries don’t have to travel to Hong Kong, Japan, China or Korea to look for a H&M. (By the way, we were at the 2 September By-Invite only preview and we snapped some photos on our smartphones. They’re located right at the bottom of this article.)
The store opens at 11am. Be the first 5 persons in the queue, and you’ll receive a H&M Gift Card worth S$250 while the first 300 customers to enter on the opening day will get a S$20 H&M Gift Card.
The store spans three levels of retail heaven.
You can expect cool confidence in distinguished and well composed browns, camel, burgundies and cream in the Autumn 2011 Collection. Longer lengths and wide trousers, chic blouses and comfy knits with perfect leather accessories will perfect your look.
Below is a sneak preview of what was available in the press room which we visited on 23 August 2011. We were overjoyed with what we saw and cannot wait to get our hands on some of the merchandise when the store opens.
